Medical Insurance: Kadix Systems offers a comprehensive Medical and Prescription plan through CareFirst (BlueCross/BlueSheild). Kadix Systems shares the premium cost with the employees. Employees can choose between three levels of coverage HMO/Opt-Out/PPO. Plan includes discount vision benefits.

Dental Insurance: Comprehensive Dental plan is offered through MetLife.

Paid Time Off: Kadix Systems offers a combined vacation/sick leave accrual schedule thus allowing employees to manage their own leave. All employees accrue 20 days of leave annually. In addition, Kadix Systems honors 10 primary federal holidays.

Short Term Disability: Benefit pays 60% of earnings, max $1,500/week; effective 15th day of a sickness or accident; maximum duration is eleven weeks.

Long Term Disability: Benefits pays 60% of earnings, max $6,000/month; effective after 90 days; duration based on a schedule.

Life Insurance: Benefit provides two times the annual salary free of charge to all eligible employees.

401 (k) Plan: Employees can set aside pre-tax dollars for retirement. Kadix Systems currently matches 50% on up to 6% of employee's annual earnings. 

Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (DCFSA) and Health Care Flexible Spending Account (HCFSA): Employees may use pre-tax allotments to pay for eligible dependent care and/or health care expenses. The maximum amount that may be set aside in any tax year for dependent care is $5,000 and the minimum amount is $100. The maximum amount that may be set aside in any tax year for health care is $3,000 and the minimum is $100.

Transit Benefits Program: Employees who use public transportation have the option of purchasing Metro transit passes and Metro station parking using pre-tax dollars.
