Training and Performance
Support
DRC helps our customers develop
flexible, interactive training and support products to
enhance performance on mission-essential operations. Over
the years, we have learned that training solutions must be
an integral part of a broader assessment of human
performance within an organization or system. Consequently,
we have developed a methodology that integrates industry
best practices in human performance assessment of
organizations, instructional systems development (ISD), and
human systems integration of
complex systems.
DRC's methodology encompasses proven
methods for identifying training requirements that can be
directly tied back to an organization or system's critical
missions. These methods help ensure that essential tasks and
skills are trained. DRC's approach to training development
is based on proven industry standards combined with
state-of-the-art tools that promote quality deliverables
appropriately targeted to the end-user community. DRC has a
proven process for developing automated courseware that is
based on the Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and
Evaluate (ADDIE) process.
DRC designs and develops highly
interactive web-based courses using our online development
environment known as the XP-23. This Web-based application
provides a complete virtual development and collaboration
environment for the cost-effective development of e-learning
modules.
DRC has broad expertise in developing a
wide range of flexible, interactive training products. The
focus of these products is on state-of-the art multimedia
instruction and Web-based distance learning systems that
allow our users to effectively train anywhere and anytime.
We have successfully developed training for a wide range of
skills from equipment operator training to software
application training to management training. Our training
encompasses individual training as well as team training. In
fact, DRC is an industry leader in the development of team
training applications for mission-critical teams.
DRC through its support of the Battle
Command Knowledge System (BCKS) furthers the Army's mission
of implementing KM capabilities into the training and
military operations of the United States Army. DRC Knowledge
Managers manage professional forums, advance professional
education and training, and advise units in the field. DRC's
support of the BCKS improves the U.S. Army's capability to
effectively share, integrate, reuse, and apply information
and experience in a challenging and dynamic operational
environment.
